We are back for an exciting weekend of Premier League action after the international break and the game on everyone’s mind would be the massive Manchester derby between Manchester United and Manchester City happening this Sat 10 September at 7:30 pm. United and City enters this week’s clash with 3 wins out of 3, and both teams would want to maintain their 100% record.

Notable Absentees

New signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan who made a massive impact in his last game against Hull is unlikely to feature due to an injury picked up during international duty with Armenia. It looks like Juan Mata’s place in the starting lineup is safe for now.

Another notable absentee for the derby match would be striker Sergio Aguero who will miss the derby due to a three-match suspension. The Argentinian international has already scored a total of 6 goals in all competitions; City will surely be missing his presence.

Key Battles

Zlatan Ibrahimovic vs. John Stones
After an illustrious career, winning league titles in 4 different countries. The 34-year-old has shown no signs of slowing down, having already scored three times in 3 games but how would he fare against City’s new £50m defender, John Stones.

Eric Bailly vs. Nolito
With Sergio Aguero suspended for the derby, it will be a good chance for Nolito to step up against a steady Manchester United defence which has only let in one goal in their last three games, a record which Eric Bailly would like to maintain after a sizzling start to the season.

Paul Pogba vs. Fernandinho
Paul Pogba has yet to be at his best since donning the United jersey and what better platform to shine than the Manchester derby in front of the home fans at Old Trafford. City’s Fernandinho will need to be at the top of his game to stifle out the most expensive player in the world.
